A couple of cute things
Grant and Kent are so much fun! Everyday when I come home from work, they run up to me and give me big hugs and just want to start playing. Kent loves for dad to get on the bed so he can climb up and wrestle. The little guy loves playing rough and isn't afraid to just go after Grant. Kent also does the funniest thing on the bed. He will lay down as if going to sleep on the pillow, pull up the blanket and then pretend to snore. He will do it over and over. It is just so cute and funny. Another thing Kent loves to do with dad is play catch. He has a big blue rubber ball that Grant calls the moon. Kent will stand about 8 to 10 feet away and have me bounce the ball to him. He then swings both his arms that he is holding strait up and hits the ball back to dad. Then he lifts his arms and waits for the ball to bounce back to him again. Kent also loves to play out in the dirt, ride the tractor or scooter, and just run to everything or everywhere he goes. Kent also the other night while I was at work had fun in the tub. He always goes willingly to the water, but this night I guess he hadn't gotten enough. Jen had taken him out and gotten him ready for bed. She left Grant in to play for a little bit while she went to load the dishwasher. After loading the dishwasher, she came around the corner to get Grant out and found Kent standing at the entrance to the living room in soaking wet pajamas. Grant is talking very well and really understands things. He loves to pretend play - robinhood, aligators (from the rescuer's movie), flying carpet (alladin), and lots of other things. He loves dinosaurs and our neighbors gave him some the other day. He doesn't share them very well, but we are working on that. He likes to say "wait, wait, wait" when you tell him to do things. We think this is from us telling him to wait when we are in the middle of something and he wants something. Grant finally peed standing up the other night and told Jen, "I peed like daddy." Grant and I did go to the father and son with our stake and had a good time. Grant actually enjoyed camping and has asked or mentioned camping since. We plan on going Monday night to the hot springs and camping overnight. Jen is looking pregnant and everything is going fine. She still is on call at night for home health and does her foot clinics once a week. She also orginizes the weekly play groups that the boys and love so much. It is nice that the weather is getting better so the can go to parks. I'm still working a Lowe's selling appliances, and doing very well. I've also started a part time job as a Agent with Primerica. On Wednesday 6/4/08 I went dirt bike riding for the first time in my life with a guy from work. It was a lot of fun and hopefully in the near future, I will be able to find a bike of my own. I do ride my scooter to work everyday and have been for over a month now. It honestly cost me $4 to go back and forth to work for a week. I have figured out that it saves me $27 every two weeks or more by driving it. We hope everyone is doing well, and enjoy the pictures. WE LOVE WHEN PEOPLE LEAVE COMMENTS.
