Quick Sick Update
Hey everyone, it has been a while since I wrote, Jen took over for a time. Just wanted to let eveyone know how we are doing. The boys as a lot of you know have been sick. Kent was close to going to the hospital with nemonia (sorry, don't know how to spell it). He is doing fine after his antibiotics. Jen is actually at the doctor right now with Caleb because he didn't sound so good this morning. Caleb has been sick for a couple of days, but didn't sound bad, nothing in lungs (Jen checks all the time), still sleeping through the night, but this morning his lungs didn't sound good and you could tell he was having a hard time breathing. I'm also on my second round of this sickness. I have a doctors appointment on 12/24 to have my toes worked on, but we will se what the doctor does now that I'm sick. Well, enough of bad news. We are doing great otherwise. Jen still loves her job and it works out for us. I'm still at Lowe's selling appliances and enjoy it. We are both grateful for our jobs, especially in this economy. We have had many friends loose their jobs recently. We are going to have a white Christmas here. We have gotten at least a foot of snow recently and more expected in the next couple of days. It is sad the boys are sick, because they so want to go play in it, but they just don't need to be in it right now. I just finished my hunters education course yesterday and have to go out for a field day in mid January to show I know how to use a gun. After that, I can get my hunting liscense. I'm excited for the first hunt this next year with a couple of guys in my ward. I've only been on one hunt in my life, and I didn't get to hunt at that time. I plan on going for deer and duck. I might even do elk, but don't know yet. The only thing is, now I have to go get the guns. I plan on getting a shotgun (870 express in camo that does the 3 1/2 magnum shells), a .22 rifle and a 3006 for the deer hunt. We also plan on taking the boys sleding this year at a commercial sleding hill. It is called idahoxpress.com if you want to see it. We are excited as Kent and Grant are both tall enough to go. Before we go though, we plan on going on a trial run here in town at park to make sure they don't freak out and we waste time and money getting there. Last night we took out goodie plates to some friends. Mom you would be proud, we made carmels, fudge, pretzals dipped in chocalate, and two different mints. Kent is starting to talk. He has relized that please goes a long way, and the cutest thing is when he says Thank You. Enjoy the pictures.
