Our Summer

Well I thought it was time to update on what is going on with us. I will start off with Caleb. Our baby is now 9 months old and crawling everywhere including right up the slide onto the top bunk of the boys bed. He is letting his opinion be know and throws little mini tantrums. I can only imagine how he will be at 2. Caleb is so sweet and smiles and gives loves all of the time. As with his older brother Kent he too has had Chronic ear infections. This means long sleepless nights. He is a funny kid. He will act fine all day, just rubbing his ears but at night he wakes up every hour. Plus he has teeth coming all over, 6 are already through and I can feel 2 more coming. The poor kid is in pain. So Back to the ears, he is scheduled to put tubes in on Friday morning. Hopefully this will bring some relief and solve some of the sleeping problems. Here is hoping, I would kill for 4 or 5 hours of sleep together. Is that too much to ask. Caleb is also saying his first words including MOMMA, dad and bye.
Kent is continues to be our little ball of energy. I swear he wakes up running and never stops. Kent's speech has really taken off lately. I was worried about him for a while because he wasn't saying sentences yet but all of the sudden he is, phew. One of the funniest things he is doing is whenever he gets an owe he will run up to me crying and say, "Mommy go Doctor". This is for every little bump and bruise. I guess this is good he thinks the doctor can fix anything. I am sure my parents are laughing at this considering my past history with "the Doctor".
Grant is getting so big. Whenever he sees a school bus he says" Mom I need to go to School". His birthday is in December so he has to wait another year until Kindergarten. We have been working on Preschool with him and he is starting to get it. Grant also says some pretty funny things. One day we were in the car and Grant said," I'm not a Talkin baby, I'm a big boy". Grant will scale up the doorway and say," I'm spider boy". It is so funny what he comes up with
Last night being the 4th of July, we took the boys to see a fireworks show. The were really big and loud. We brought earmuffs for the boys, you know that kind you use when shooting guns because the loud noised scare the boys. When the show started Grant said he didn't need them. But as soon as the first loud firework goes off Grant Frantically said, " I NEED EAR MUFFS". It was hilarious. So Grant and Kent wore them and enjoyed the show. Caleb on the other hand wasn't scare at all, he watched with big eyes and was talking at them toward the end. He is such a brave little boy.
We are enjoying the summer and spending a lot of time in the park, and playing outside. We love the Idaho evenings because it cools down most of the time so we will go for a nice walk and Grant will ride his bike. That about all for now. Love you all.
